Dussmann Health and Safety Days 2025

Two days dedicated to health and safety at work

Workplace safety – beyond procedures

Occupational health and safety go far beyond guidelines and procedures. They take shape in real-life situations, on-site decisions, and the everyday actions repeated day after day.

On June 17 and 18, two days were dedicated to these topics: the first brought together our clients, the second our employees. Two different audiences, but one shared objective: to present our actions, compare practices, and strengthen prevention.

Observe, test, exchange

Participants were faced with situations closely aligned with their professional reality.
Technical demonstrations, hands-on workshops, experience sharing, and life-saving skills training – each session was designed to provide practical, immediately applicable skills tailored to the risks identified on site.

These exchanges made it possible to map existing best practices, identify areas for improvement, and reiterate a key principle: safety relies as much on procedures and equipment as on attention to everyday actions, prevention, and training.

Adapting practices to on-site realities

Prevention is effective when it is understood, embraced, and supported by everyone. Paying attention to one’s own safety also means contributing to the safety of others, regardless of role, profession, or working environment.

These days fostered open dialogue with our clients to discuss their expectations, constraints, and specific challenges. Feedback from our employees highlighted on-the-ground realities and the adjustments needed to make practices truly applicable.

Committed stakeholders

The success of these days is the result of the commitment of many stakeholders.
We would like to thank our clients, our partners ActionWear, Centre de Formation pour Conducteurs, DR. SCHNELL, Vileda Professional BeNeLux, Luxsecurity Luxembourg SA and BOMA Luxembourg, as well as our trainers, our QHSE team, and all employees involved.

A long-term commitment

These days were not an end in themselves but a milestone in our continuous improvement approach. Occupational health and safety are built over time through regular actions, rigorous monitoring, and constant reassessment of practices.

They confirm that safety is lived every day on the ground, thanks to everyone’s commitment. Next year, this format will be renewed with new topics and workshops, to further strengthen our commitment to workplace safety.
